  2. In the search bar, type “backup”, then click Backup

  4. In the Backup Destination list box, select the home directory to save your backup file.
  5. Enter your email address in the email address field.
  6. Click Generate Backup & cPanel will create the backup. Once the backup has been completed, you will receive an email.

How to download the full backup of your website in cPanel

Once you have generated your full cPanel backup from the above steps, you should now have the option to download the backup file. To download a full backup, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to cPanel.

To download an existing partial backup, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to cPanel.

  2. In the search bar, type “backup”, then select Backup.

  3. Under the Partial Backups heading, select the name of the backup file that you want to download. The following backup types could be available to download:
    – Home Directory
    – MySQL databases
    – E-mail forwarders
    – E-mail filters

Restoring a partial backup in cPanel

To restore an existing partial backup, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to cPanel.
