## **Fixing Common Email Setup Issues**

### **Cannot Verify Server Identity**

- Ensure that you are using the correct **incoming and outgoing mail server settings**.
- Try using the **full server name** provided by your hosting provider instead of your domain name.
- Verify that **SSL is enabled** under advanced mail settings.

### **Unable to Send Emails**

- Go to **Settings > Mail > Accounts > Your Email Account > SMTP**.
- Ensure that the **SMTP server is correctly configured**.
- Check that the **username and password** for the outgoing mail server are entered correctly.

### **Incorrect Password Error**

- Double-check your password by logging into your email provider’s **Webmail**.
- If you recently updated your email password, ensure it is updated on your iOS device as well.

## **Configuring iOS to Delete Emails When Using IMAP**

If you receive the error **“Unable to Move Message”** when deleting an email, follow these steps:

1. **Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.**
2. Select the **email account** you want to modify.
3. Under **IMAP**, tap the **account name**.
4. Scroll down and tap **Advanced**.
5. Under **Mailbox Behaviors**, tap **Deleted Mailbox**.
6. Under **On the Server**, select **Trash**.
7. Tap **Advanced > Account > Done** to save changes.

Now, emails deleted on your iPhone will also be deleted from the server.
