In this article, you will learn how to use the Feature Manager in WHM. The feature manager allows you to decide what you would like to give customers on your hosting plan e.g Softaculous App Installer. You can create multiple feature packages that can be used on different hosting plans.
How to create a feature list
To create a new feature list in WHM, follow these steps:
- Login to WHM.
If you’re unsure of how to log in to WHM please follow this article. - Type Feature Manager in the search box located on the left-hand side.
- Click Feature Manager.
- Under Add a new feature list type what you would like it to be called e.g Hosting All Features.
- Select the features you would like the list to have.
- Press save.
How to edit a feature list
To edit a feature list in WHM, follow these steps:
- Login to WHM.
If you’re unsure of how to log in to WHM please follow this article. - Type Feature Manager in the search box located on the left-hand side.
- Click Feature Manager.
- Under manage feature list select the list from the dropdown menu then press edit.
- Select the features you would like the list to have.
- Press save.
How to delete a feature list
To delete a feature list in WHM, follow these steps:
- Login to WHM.

- Click Feature Manager.
- Under manage feature list click delete.
Your feature list has now been deleted.
How to add a feature list to a hosting package
To add a feature list to a hosting package in WHM, follow these steps:
- Login to WHM.

- Click Edit a package.
- Select the package you wish to edit.
- At the bottom of the settings section, locate the feature list row.
- Select the feature list from the dropdown.
- Press save changes.
