How To Install WordPress Manually In C-Panel

Creating A MySQL Database Using The Wizard

  1. Log in to the client area
  2. Click Services
  3. Select the service you require. We will be using our Hosting
  4. In the side menu, Click Login To C-Panel

  1. Search for MySQL in the C-panel search bar
  2. Click on the MySQL Database Wizard as this will be the easiest way to set up the database with user accounts

Installing WordPress Manually

Now you have created your database and users. You need to download WordPress, You can do this by clicking here. Make sure the download stays as a .ZIP file. Now Head back over to your Hosting service or log in via C-Panel.
  1. In the Quick Shortcuts menu, click File Manager. You can also do this by clicking C-Panel on the left sidebar.

  2. Click on public_html
  3. In the top menu, click Upload
  4. You can either drag the zip file into the window or press select file
  5. When the file has uploaded (the bar will turn green), Press Back
  6. Right-click the file and press extract
  7. Press OK

  2. Right-click on wp-config-sample.php
  3. Press Edit

  3. Rename the file to “wp-config.php”
