Reactivating an expired domain

Reactivating an expired domain

If the domain has expired because you’ve missed an invoice by accident then we may be able to get it back for the same renewal price from our domain registrar (eNom). To give us more chance of retrieval we need to be notified ASAP within the first 0 to 30 days after expiration. It is not guaranteed that we can get the domain back from eNom during this 30-day reactivation period.

After this 30-day reactivation period, Most domain names go to a Redemption Grace Period which you can buy the domain back at extra cost. The cost of this all depends on the domain name and its TLD. Any regular registration fees that are due do not include this set price.

If you’re unable to pay the redemption grace period the domain should become available after 42 days depending on the domain’s TLD. You’re then able to rebuy the domain name if someone else hasn’t bought it.
